The Cat5e network cables produced by SZXYQ are suitable for 100Mbps Ethernet transmission and comply with the TIA/EIA-568 standard. They are available in both unshielded (UTP) and shielded (FTP) structures and are suitable for home, office and...
Cat5e Ethernet cable, where the "e" stands for "enhanced," is an improved network connectivity solution based on traditional Category 5 cables. By optimizing pair twist density and using higher quality materials, this cable significantly reduces crosstalk during signal transmission, enabling stable support for Gigabit Ethernet networks. Cat5e cables support bandwidth frequencies of 100MHz with theoretical transmission speeds up to 1Gbps. While their performance parameters may not match those of Cat6 cables, they still provide fully adequate data transmission performance in most office and home network environments, making them the most mainstream and economical network cabling choice available today.
These cables typically consist of four pairs of oxygen-free copper wires, with each pair twisted at different rates and using high-quality polyethylene material as insulation. The unshielded (UTP) version of Cat5e cables relies on precise twisting technology to cancel electromagnetic interference, while the shielded version incorporates additional metal foil layers to provide stronger interference resistance, making them suitable for industrial environments with complex electromagnetic conditions. Cat5e cables must comply with TIA/EIA-568-B.2 standard specifications to ensure their transmission performance and quality meet design requirements. These cables are widely used in enterprise local area network wiring, home broadband networks, surveillance system transmission, and various smart devices requiring network connections. With their excellent cost-performance ratio and reliable performance, they remain the preferred solution for building basic network infrastructure. Although Cat6 and higher specification cables have emerged, Cat5e continues to hold an important position in the network cabling market due to its mature technology and affordable pricing.
