SZXYQ has recently commenced mass production of UL2931 high-temperature electronic wires, successfully addressing the long-standing issue of high-temperature ageing of wiring materials in the small appliance industry. The product has passed rigorous testing by leading manufacturers such as Midea and Supor and has begun mass production.
Product Development Background
According to industry research data, approximately 23% of after-sales repair cases for small appliances in 2023 were related to high-temperature ageing of internal wires. Traditional 80°C PVC wires used around heating elements in products such as coffee makers and rice cookers have an average service life of only 2-3 years. After 18 months of material improvement, Xinyaoqiang's R&D team finally developed this 105°C temperature-resistant PVC electronic wire.
Key Technical Breakthroughs
1. Utilises German BASF special SR-PVC material, elevating the temperature rating to 105°C
2. Optimises insulation layer thickness (0.15mm ± 0.02mm) to balance temperature resistance and flexibility
3. Passed 2,000 thermal cycling tests (-20°C to 105°C), with performance degradation <5%
Actual Application Results
Feedback from Supor Appliances engineers: ‘In internal testing of the latest instant-heating water dispenser, the prototype using UL2931 wire maintained an insulation resistance of over 100MΩ after 5,000 heating cycles, fully meeting the 5-year service life requirement.’
